Coming out of a small city of Bratislava, Slovakia, where he also grew up, later moving to Florence, Italy for College to study design, KAY. is a versatile Alternative Hip Hop artist. Later, after graduating Rhode Island School of Design, KAY. moved to New York City to pursue his dreams.
KAY. started making music back when he was 17, when he first started playing guitar and was a part of multiple metal, rock and punk bands. When he reached the age of 19, he started experimenting with rap and hip hop music, currently creating alternative & grunge rap, often with signs of rock and metal culture.
As a child, KAY. has been raised on rock and metal music, bands such as: Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, AC\DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden… Until now, his music still contains signs of metal, rock, punk and grunge culture, within the sound and lyrics, which mainly concern his personal life and issues. Just a small kid from a country noone knows, now I’m here. Fight for your dreams. Believe. Create.
