Johnzy is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, educator, and producer. Having originally been all about contemporary pop music, he later gravitated toward swing and became a multi-genre artist.
Influenced by the legends of swing from Dean Martin’s cool and elegant style to Nat King Cole’s soft baritone voice, Johnzy’s music has also been inspired by Depeche Mode’s electronic music and Robbie Williams’ flamboyant personality.
Stylistically, Johnzy’s music echoes influences from some of the greats: Dave Gahan, Michael Bublé and Ákos. His music can be described as beautiful, evolving stories that take you for an always-changing and exciting journey.
Johnzy is a relaxed and elegant musician who likes playing concerts with feel-good vibes, swing music and of course some cross-genre surprises.
As an award-winning poet and lyricist, he has worked with many musicians behind the scenes and helped elevate their musicianship through well-crafted lyrics. He is a founder of the L-O-V-E Movement, which promotes love and acceptance all around the world.
