Adedamola Ogundipe, professionally known as Damola Davis was born in London but raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, where he spent most of his childhood. This was where his musical journey started and his love for making music was born.
In 2009, Damola Davis was in a music group called X-Element and they were popular in school. Damola Davis later relocated back to the UK where his sound was transformed. From SMC group to 2BADA, and now as a solo artist, Damola Davis’ sound has evolved over the last 10 years. He has been regarded as a diverse artist, with influences from various genres of music.
He has worked with several artists such as Mowille, Rotimo, Baseone, and Damibliz to name a few. His last release titled “Kabo” which featured Damibliz and Mowille, went on to air on major radio and tv stations, and was well received by a diverse audience both in Africa and internationally.
His latest single titled “Vacationship”, which playfully describes the popular culture of “private trips” with no strings attached, was released on Good Friday 10th April 2020, and continues to garner radio plays, and amass thousands of streams on all music platforms.
