Ana Mancebo was born and raised in Madrid, Spain in a music-filled household. Inspired by her artistic parents, this 21-year-old singer songwriter was bound to be in love with music since the day she was born. She was gifted her first guitar at age 9 by her grandma and begged her parents to start taking guitar lessons, which led to singing lessons that lasted for about 4 or 5 years and helped her train and develop her voice.
In 2014, Ana was part of the kids version of the well-known TV show “The Voice” in Spain, where she made it until the battle rounds at 15 years old. She claims this show gave her the confidence and push she needed to take music more seriously. A year later, she moved to the U.S. for a semester long exchange program to spread her wings a little and experience something new. Little did her parents know, that she would love it so much she would end up staying to this dayy.
Since her arrival to the U.S., she started to develop an even bigger passion for music which only grew stronger after the passing of her dad in 2017. “He was one of my biggest inspirations. He always encouraged me to do what I loved and never gave up on me. He was so proud of every little thing I did and I am determined to keep making him proud through my music every single day”.
Six months away from graduating college, Ana continues to balance getting her degree and keeping up with her passion. She cannot wait to continue growing her music career and see where the future takes her ♡
