Born into a family of artists, musicians and out-of-the-box thinkers, Alexander’s life was destined to be anything but ordinary. Alexander has created music that has spanned genres, and generalizations. In his teens, he snuck his guitar into the local blues club The Oxford sitting in with the best players around. Years later he went on to study guitar at Cornish College of the arts in an unconventional way under the instruction of saxophonist/composer Denney Goodhew. While studying with Denney, Alexander began to realize he had a deep passion for composing.
As a composer and performing artist he has worked with Mara Gearman (Seattle Symphony), The Saint Helens String Quartet, The Corigliano Quartet, and Adam Stern with the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra. As a guitarist and frontman he has played many festivals and clubs in Washington, and shared the stage with notable musicians such as Rafe Pearlman, CD Woodbury, Tim Lerch, and Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), Lynn Sorensen ( Bad Company, Paul Rodgers), and Roger Fisher( Heart). Alexander is currently working on film scores, as well as performing and teaching music privately.
