Washington Heights, is a London based producer/composer/singer/songwriter. Previously signed to BMG records and EMI publishing with his soul n funk band Originalson, his musical voyage continues to take him into recording studios and onto the live stage performing his own material whilst also collaborating and working with various artists, musicians and producers. Previously Renn has worked with or alongside popular artists such as Basement Jaxx, Jamiroquai, Meshell Ndegeocello, De La Soul and The Urban Soul Orchestra.
In 2023 Renn delivered his ‘hypnotherabeat sessions’, a series of single releases which draws inspiration from the eclectic sound and soul of the city. The production combines a range of influences from electronic dance, funk, soul, downtempo, lofi and alternative hip hop, all characterized by dreamy vocal sequences and soulful atmospheres which draws listeners in for the journey.
