“ Echo Nexus ” by WLHM & ABEL DJASSI

WLHM and Abel Djassi have released Echo Nexus, a track blending deep techno with tribal energy, available from March 13 via Siblings Audio. The collaboration explores hypnotic rhythms and organic textures, offering an immersive dancefloor experience. Built on pulsating rhythms and evolving soundscapes, the track captures trance-like movements through percussion and atmospheric synths. The organic percussion and deep bass create a raw, fluid groove, designed to engage both body and mind.

Cultural influences are central to the track, with WLHM drawing inspiration from Latin America and Abel Djassi infusing elements from his Cape Verdean roots. This fusion of rhythmic traditions creates a unique sound within a modern electronic framework. The production process was intuitive, with rhythm as the central element. The artists used drum machines like the Elektron Analog Rytm and Roland TR-8S, alongside organic sounds like hand claps and wood beats. The Moog Sub 37 provided warmth to the bassline, while the ASM Hydrasynth added atmospheric depth. WLHM explained, “We wanted to create something that awakens the primal instinct to move and dance, merging organic percussion with a hypnotic, pulsating groove.”

The collaboration between WLHM and Abel Djassi stems from a long-standing friendship and mutual trust. Abel Djassi, also known as Natalino Nunes, is the founder of Siblings Audio, and his platform served as a natural home for the release.

WLHM (Billy Aldea-Martinez) is an Australian artist with deep ties to Brazil’s electronic music scene. He co-founded Ipanema Records and Código56 Records, and created events like Copacabana Beach Club and Rio Underground.

Abel Djassi’s (Natalino Nunes) music spans house, tech house, minimal, and hard techno. His new project focuses on raw, deep, hypnotic, and tribal techno, blending organic percussion with immersive textures. As the founder of Siblings Audio, he pushes the boundaries of techno, creating ritualistic dancefloor experiences.
