Hello, this is Tommy Countach from Berlin. He used to play keys and synths in bands such as Captain Hollywood Project and Grossraum Indie Fresse, but the Corona pandemic hit artists hard, forcing him to become his own band in his bedroom during lockdown.
Tommy’s obsession with synthesizers intensified during this period, leading to a severe case of gear acquisition syndrome.Equipped with two drum machines, three loopers, a vast array of effects, samplers, and countless keyboards, he began jamming and writing songs that blend 80s/90s Italo disco, synthwave, and eurodisco.
While some neighbors enjoyed his music, others were less enthusiastic. Fortunately, the return of live shows allowed Tommy to channel his energy into performances. He recently completed his new EP, “10.000 Hours,” a compilation of his influences and popular live jams. Now, with a compact traveling setup and a keytar strapped to his back, he’s ready to hit the road again.
